PAULS VALLEY, OK – October 26, 2018 – Covercraft Industries, LLC announced today the acquisition of Carver Industries, a well-established manufacturer of premium-quality, custom-fit and semi-custom fit protective covers for the marine industry. This latest acquisition enhances Covercraft’s world-leading pattern library and expands the company’s assortment of custom-fit vehicle protection products.
Based in South Carolina, Carver Industries produces a wide array of boat covers, bimini tops, canoe and kayak covers as well as various ATV and UTV covers. Carver’s products are currently available through local marine dealers and internet retailers with distribution throughout the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Europe. “We’re excited to be joining the Covercraft family and bringing Carver’s high-quality marine products to their customer base,” said John Kelaher, former owner of Carver Industries and new VP of Marine Products at Covercraft. Carver Industries is the fourth company to join Covercraft’s ever-increasing family of vehicle protection products since Covercraft partnered with Century Park Capital Partners in 2015. Guy Zaczepinski, Managing Partner with Century Park Capital Partners and Chairman of Covercraft, concluded, “Carver not only offers us access to the marine custom cover market, which is largely a stable, replacement business, but also provides counter-seasonal production capacity for our core automotive cover offerings. We are fortunate to have yet another high-quality, established brand join our growing vehicle protection family.”
