Bill has over 35 years of management and operating experience in the design and manufacture of highly engineered systems, including 15 years at the President – CEO level. Most recently Bill was the CEO of Sanders Industries, an engineered materials business with manufacturing sites in four states and the United Kingdom. During his tenure at Sanders Industries the company’s revenue doubled through a combination of acquisition and organic initiatives.

Prior to Sanders Industries, Bill was the CEO of the Ricon Group, originally a portfolio company APAX Partners. Over the course of 9 years Bill oversaw the reorganization of business into three distinct companies/business lines including home elevators, van conversions for the disabled, and accessibility products for public transportation. Through a series of planned divestitures the various components were sold to strategic and private equity buyers, culminating with the sale of Ricon Corporation to WABTEC in 2007.

Earlier in his career Bill served as an Infantry Officer followed by assignments in manufacturing and program management at various divisions of Lockheed-Martin, FMC, and General Dynamics.

Bill holds a B.S. from Washington & Lee University and an M.S. from the University of Chicago.
