Michael Levin joined the Advisory Council of Century Park Capital Partners in 2001.
Michael has extensive operating experience in the retail industry with a proven ability to drive value enhancement and business growth. Michael currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Levtex Home, a designer and marketer of home furnishings. Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kidsline, LLC, a division of Kids Brands, Inc. (formerly known as Russ Berrie and Company, Inc.). Based in South Gate, California, Kidsline designs and distributes infant bedding products to retailers worldwide. Century Park completed a minority recapitalization of Kidsline in 2001 and the company was successfully sold to Russ Berrie and Company, Inc. in 2004. Under Michael’s leadership, the company doubled revenues and profits through organic growth over a three year investment period, ultimately resulting in a substantial return on investment for the Company’s shareholders upon its sale.
Prior to joining Kidsline in 1999, Michael was an attorney for the law firms of Bingham, Dana & Gould in Boston and Graham & James in San Francisco. In addition to his extensive legal experience, he played a pivotal role in firm management, culminating in becoming Managing Partner of Graham & James in 1997.
He holds a B.A. degree in History from the University of California, San Diego and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
