Michele Kessler joined the Executive Council of Century Park Capital Partners in 2017.
Michele has over 20 years of marketing and general management experience in the consumer packaged goods sector. She is currently CEO of thinkThin, a leading protein bar company. Since assuming leadership of thinkThin, Michele’s achievements include tripling sales, increasing profit six-fold and doubling market share; successfully introducing new products in new categories; and diversifying the supply chain from one to seven manufacturing facilities while improving COGS, product quality and customer service. Michele led the sale of the company from private equity to corporate ownership, with a sales price exceeding industry average on both a net revenue and EBITDA multiple basis.
Prior to thinkThin, Michele held leadership positions at Mars Inc, including Vice President Global Chocolate Strategy and Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, where she had P&L responsibility for the US confections business. During her tenure at Mars, sales CAGR improved 6 points, earnings grew double-digit and market share increased 5 points. Michele also drove profitable sales in a variety of marketing positions at Kraft Foods, including Vice President and Director level roles in both the biscuit and confections categories. Michele began her marketing career at Proctor & Gamble where she progressed through successive brand management assignments on some of the company’s leading laundry and household cleaning brands.
Michele received her BA and MBA degrees from the University of Virginia.
